Setup
Players gather in a comfortable setting, such as a living room or around a table. Choose a starting player.
How to Play
The starting player begins by saying any word out loud. The next player must quickly say a word that begins with the last three letters of the previous word. For example, if the first word is "calculator," the next word could be "torpedo" (as "tor" is the last three letters of "calculator"). Another example: if a player says "happiness," the next word could be "essential" (since "ess" is the ending of "happiness"). Play continues in the chosen order, with each player coming up with a word based on the last syllable of the previous word. Words cannot be repeated during the same round. If a player hesitates for too long, repeats a word, or says a word that does not start with the correct syllable, they face a penalty. The penalty can be a fun, light-hearted action, such as taking a sip of their drink, doing a silly dance, or telling a joke. After the penalty, the game restarts with the last correct word, or a new word if the players agree. The game continues for a predetermined number of rounds, or until players decide to stop.
