Bang!

Setup

Gather a group of participants, ideally 6 or more players for a better game experience. Instruct the players to form a circle, standing with a comfortable distance between each person.

How to Play

Choose one player to start the game by calling out another player's name. The named player must quickly duck to avoid being "shot." The two players on either side of the ducking player point their hands like guns at each other and yell "Bang!" as quickly as possible. The slower player in each duel pretends to be shot, falls to the ground, and is eliminated from the game. The person who ducked becomes the new caller and chooses another player's name to continue the game. Play continues in this manner until only two players remain. For the final duel, the last two players stand back to back in the center of the circle. An unbiased participant or observer acts as the referee and counts down from a predetermined number, such as three or five, or uses a signal like "Ready, set, go!" The players take a step away from each other with each count. At the final count or signal, both players quickly turn around, point their hands like guns at each other, and yell "Bang!" The player who turns around and yells "Bang!" first wins the duel and is declared the winner of the game.
