Setup

You‘ll need a large, open outdoor space to be able to run around freely, like a park. Prepare two or more different colored “flags'' depending on how many teams. Anything can be used as a flag as long as they’re distinguishable and easy to carry. Eg. you can use different colored shirts, balls, or shoes. Refer to the image below for the layout. Put each team's flag on opposite sides and each team's jail adjacent to the flag on the respective teams sides. Have a clear border, either a path or cones to mark the border separating the two teams' areas. Divide players into equal teams. Players start the game from a neutral location on their own side.

How to Play

Players can enter enemy territory to try and capture their flag. They can also stay on their own side to defend their own flag but are not allowed closer than 10M to their own flag. Once in the enemy’s territory, a player can be sent to the opposing side's jail if tagged by a player from the other team. To be released from jail, another team member must tag you. The team who brings the enemy’s flag into their flag area first wins.
