Setup

Players sit in a circle or around a table. Choose a starting player.

How to Play

The first player begins by saying "I drink because I know..." followed by a trivia statement, for example, "I drink because I know the capital of Somalia." The player then takes a sip of their drink. Other players who think they know the answer raise their hand or glass and answer simultaneously with the questioner. If they answer correctly, they don't have to drink. If they answer incorrectly, they drink twice the amount. If no one knows the answer, all players except the questioner drink. Importantly, if the questioner themselves doesn't know the correct answer or gives a wrong answer, they must drink three times the amount. Play continues to the next person, and the game goes on for as many rounds as the players are comfortable with.
