Setup

Ensure you have a pair of headphones that can effectively play white noise loudly, blocking out any ambient sound. Alternatively, you can move your mouth without speaking aloud (although this is easier). Press the ‘START GAME’ button at the top of this page. Gather your players and decide on the number of rounds or questions you'd like to play. Enter each player's name into the app. Specify the number of 60-second turns that each person have.

How to Play

The app randomly selects one player to be the "Reader" and another player to be the "Guesser". The Guesser wears headphones, and plays white noise or any music loud enough to ensure the Guesser can't hear any spoken words. The app provides the Reader with a sentence. The Reader faces the Guesser and articulates the sentence clearly, enunciating each word without making any sound. The Guesser has 60 seconds to decipher the sentence by reading the Reader's lips. Within this timeframe, the Guesser can make multiple guesses and can choose to skip the word at any time. If the Guesser correctly identifies the sentence within the allocated time, they earn a point. The aim to to earn as many points as possible within the 60 seconds. Note: Skipping a word does not negatively affect your points. After each round, roles rotate among the players. If there are more than two participants, the app continues to assign roles. The game continues, repeating the previous steps until each player has had their turn. The winner is the player who scores the most amount of points at the end of the game.
