Setup

Designate one person as the guesser for the first round and have them face away from the group. Press the ‘Start Game’ button at the top of this page. The app will guide you through the setup process and generate the first secret word.

How to Play

All players, excluding the guesser, view the secret word shown on the app. Each player thinks of a unique, one-word clue that pertains to the secret word and writes it on a piece of paper. For example, if the secret word is 'Zoo', one player might write 'Ticket', while another might write 'Animals'. Note: There should be no communication between players during this phase. Once everyone has written down their clues, players discreetly compare their clues, ensuring the guesser doesn't see them. If any words are duplicated, those clues are removed completely, for example, if two people wrote ‘Animals’, both these clues would be removed. After removing duplicates, instruct the guesser to turn towards the group. Players then simultaneously reveal their remaining clues to the guesser. The guesser attempts to identify the secret word based on the given clues. If the guesser correctly guesses the word, the team earns a point, and a new guesser is selected for the next round. If the guess is incorrect, no points are earned, and the game continues with a new guesser and word. Repeat steps 1-7 until the pre-determined number of rounds is complete. At the end of the game, the app will display the total score and assign a grade to the group, ranging from A+ (100%) to F (0%).
