Setup

Prepare a pen and a belt. Ideally, you ask if anybody is wearing a belt and take theirs. The softer the belt, the better. Find a pen or any similar-shaped object.

How to Play

Put the belt on a table and put the pen inside it’s loop in the middle. Showing everyone that the pen is clearly inside the loop. Then slowly coil up the pen by taking both sides of the belt and wrapping it around the pen (see video for reference). Once the belt is completely coiled up, then reiterate to the audience that the pen is inside the loop. Make sure the audience member is holding the pen upright, pressing down firmly so the pen does not move. Take both sides of the belt ends and pull them in opposite directions to unravel the belt thereby magically unlooping the pen!
